Situated in the protected area of Parco Spina Verde (Natura 2000), Cascina Rodiani welcomes its guests according to the principles of responsible tourism. The flora and the fauna of the park enrich its landscape, creating a special experience, where nature is the real protagonist.
During the four years of the Cascina’s renovation, we promoted local materials and applied pioneering and less known solutions in the resources’ management (drinkable water, heating and energy). While looking for solutions to combine a 400 years old building with modern needs, we reached high quality results and high-energy efficiency, recognised by the awards we won.
Our hospitality stands out as original emission-free rooms, local organic and self-produced products and touristic offers out of the usual routes. When we welcome our guests, we promote the beauty of the area and its envoronment while at the same time we encourage a sustainable approach to it (walking tours, e-bikes, e-car rental).
In 2010, we created the term ‘Green Hospitality’, that became our logo and we feel it well represents our principles. We are happy that nowadays the sensibility towards responsible tourism is growing, and we are proud to have been pioneers in this field!
